The British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) are presented in an annual award show hosted by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA). It is the British counterpart of the Oscars.
As of 2008, it has taken place in the Royal Opera House in London, UK. BAFTA was founded in 1947 as The British Film Academy, and in 1958, the Academy merged with The Guild of Television Producers and Directors to form The Society of Film and Television.
The European equivalent of the Oscars - The Film Awards are the Academy’s highest film honours, rewarding the best work of any nationality seen on British cinema screens during the preceding year.
Directors and Hollywood movie stars fly into London to take part at this prestigious Awards ceremony and VIP events and parties surrounding the ceremony.
No company does it better for the BAFTAS - we look forward to sharing our BAFTA VIP experience with you.
